🥤 Lemon Iced Tea Recipe

🌿 Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags (or 2 tsp loose black tea)
  • 2–3 tsp sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Fresh mint leaves for garnish

👩‍🍳 Method

Step 1: Brew the tea

  1. Boil 2 cups of water.
  2. Add tea bags or loose tea and steep for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags or strain leaves.

Step 2: Sweeten

  • While the tea is still warm, stir in sugar or honey until dissolved.

Step 3: Chill & Add Lemon

  1. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  2. Add lemon juice and mix well.

Step 4: Serve

  • Pour into glasses filled with ice cubes.
  • Garnish with mint leaves if desired.

💡 Tips

  • Brew the tea slightly stronger than usual since ice dilutes it.
  • For extra flavor, add a thin slice of lemon in the glass.
  • You can make a large batch and refrigerate for 1–2 days.
