Ingredients:
Bajra (Pearl Millet) flour: 1/2 cup
Jowar (Sorghum) flour: 1/2 cup
Green Gram Dal (Moong dal): 1/4 cup (soaked for 3-4 hours)
Oats: 1/4 cup (instant or rolled oats)
Ginger: 1 teaspoon, finely chopped
Green chilies: 1-2, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
Coriander leaves: 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
Cumin seeds: 1 teaspoon
Salt: as per taste
Water: as needed
Oil: for cooking
Procedure:
Preparation of Batter:
Drain the soaked green gram dal and rinse well. In a blender, combine the soaked dal and oats. Blend into a smooth paste,
Transfer this mixture into a mixing bowl.
Mixing the Flour:
To the bowl, add bajra flour, jowar flour, ginger, green chilies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, and salt. Mix everything well. Adjust consistency with water if needed to make a smooth batter. The batter should not be too thick or too runny.
Making the Chilla:
