Soya Chaap is a good source of protein and contains all the essential amino acids that our body needs. It is also a good source of dietary fibre and iron. Step 1 Take a bowl, put the Boiled soya chaap in it. Add salt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli paste, lemon juice and mix it well. Keep aside for half an hour.
Step 2 Heat a pan, add oil jeera and cashew nut and cook for a minute. Add besan and cook for another one minute. Turn off the flame.
Step 3 Take a grinder, add coriander leaves, green chillies, hung curd and the cooked besan mixture. Grind it and make a smooth paste.
Step 4 Transfer this mixture into a bowl add chaap, salt, oil, garam masala, ginger garlic paste and mix it well. Put them in skewers and cook it over a non stick pan from both the sides Or bake them for 10 mins in preheated oven.
Serve it hot with chutney of your choice!!
If you do not have fresh pudina then you can use pudina /mint powder. You can also bake these soya chaaps in a preheated oven at 250°C for 10 minutes. You can also cook it in a very hot tava on high heat.
Tips:
If you do not have steel skewers then you can use wooden sticks. Place a piece of foil around the gas burner; this will avoid the area from becoming messy.
