How to make roti ladoos from leftover roti?

Roti or chapati or phulka is the staple food in each and every Indian household. Each day, this dish is a must in any meal of the day for an Indian. But many times, there are some leftover Rotis with us. So here is Roti ladoos recipe for you.

Using those leftovers, a variety of dishes can be prepared or these can be simply reheated by applying some ghee to have in the next meal. Then we can use leftover roti or chapati or phulka some ladoos are prepared. I prefer first to roast the leftover chapati to make it crispier which will be then easier to make a coarse powder. But this step is optional. I knew she was fond of sweets, though this actual step of making those rotis and then pulsing it to make ladoos, felt over the board. She said she loved the concept.

It’s easy to make and they are ready in under 10 minutes. Yes, you could adjust the sugar according to your tasting.

What are the ingredients needed for roti ladoos from leftover roti?

  • 6 Chapati
  • 1 tablespoon of ghee
  • 4 tablespoons of Jaggery or stevia
  • Pinch of Elaichi
  • 1 tablespoon seed
  • 1 tablespoon coconut

How to prepare roti ladoos from leftover roti?

  1. Firstly You can utilize your leftover chapati to make ladoos, using 7 leftover roti and roasting on low flame until it turns crisp.
  2. Secondly, a mixer grinder and now divide the rote into small art now divide the small part and put it in the mixture grinder.
  3. Then blend to a coarse powder. Make sure not to blend to a fine powder.
  4. Add powdered jaggery, ghee, Mix seed, cardamom powder, desiccated coconut, and mix everything well.
  5. After that sprinkle milk little by little and then start making 1-2 inch size ball.
  6. Finally, Serve these chapatti/roti ladoos or store them in an airtight container for later
  7. Tip – Self-life of roti ladoos is 3-4 Days.
