Marwadi besan ghasela recipe in easy steps:

Besan ghasela is very famous rajasthani sabji also known as besan ka pitta ,it is very nutritious and full of minerals as well as it is perfect and best dish to eat when you are out of vegetables in your fridge.

Besan is full of nutrients like, rich in fiber, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium and completely gluten free option as well as best for weight loss , maintains cholesterol levels, blood sugar levels etc.

Also very easy and takes only 15 minutes to cook and serve with bajra/makka/jowar /wheat rotis.

Ingredients for besan ghasela

  • 1tbsp oil
  • 1 Tsp- cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp-hing
  • 1 Chopped onion
  • 2-3 Chopped green chilies
  • 1-1/2 Cup besan
  • Coriander leaves
  • 1 Tsp- red chilli powder
  • 1 Tsp- turmeric powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water – 1 glass

Method

  1. Firstly, take a heavy bottomed pan and heat oil.
  2. Then add cumin ,green chilies ,Hing and sauté.
  3. Secondly, when cumin seeds splutter add onions and sauté .
  4. Meanwhile, add water in besan in bowl and put all masalas in it .
  5. Then, add this mixture in the pan and stir for 15 minutes on medium flame.
  6. Lastly, when it all mixed properly garnish it with coriander leaves .
  7. Finally, your Rajasthani besan ghasela is ready .

Tips

Additionally ,you can add some spring onion leaves also .

Also you can sqeeze lemon to avoid bloating .
