Easy Moong Dal Chaat in 2Mins

Moong Dal Chaat is a healthy and protein-rich dish. It also helps weight loss. This dish is originally from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is a delicious and unique chaat.

The main ingredient is moong dal. The spices like asafoetida powder, red chili powder, chaat masala, black salt, and roasted cumin seeds powder add flavor to it.

Topping the chaat with coriander-mint chutney, dates chutney, and butter makes it tastier. moong dal best plant-based source of protein.

It is good for the heart(lower the LDL cholesterol level) and is diabetic friendly as it’s a good source of antioxidants. It is also a good source of potassium, magnesium, and fiber.

Moong dal reduces blood pressure levels and helps insulin to work properly. Consuming moong beans reduces hunger and gives fullness and thus perfectly suits those who want to reduce weight.

This salad can be consumed for a healthy weight loss and it is very easy to prepare.

Ingredients for Moong Dal Chaat :

1 cup yellow moong dal

Little salt & pepper

1 Lemon

Chopped little cucumber, onion & tomato

Method:

To make the moong dal chaat, first chop the onions, tomatoes & cucumber into bite-sized pieces. Keep all the vegetables aside.

Put the moong dal in a pressure cooker with an adequate amount of water and let it cook for 2 to 3 whistles. Dal should come out in the dry form.

Now take a bowl and add dal, chopped vegetables, spices & squeeze lemon on top of it.

Mix well all together.

Serve.
