How to make Homemade Lemon tea in 2 mins

Homemade Lemon tea is inherently a treasure trove of nutrition and enhances stomach, liver, heart and skin health. Incorporate it into your regular diet we need to add a dash of mint essence or a pinch of cinnamon powder. It has a tangy taste and aroma also has its health benefits also.

The bright and juicy lemon is scientifically termed Citrus limon and known as Nimbu in Hindi, Elumichchaipazham in Tamil, and Nimmakaya in Telugu. Adding a piquant flavor and aroma to traditional Indian dishes, lemons also confer innumerable benefits for human health. They help in eliminating kidney stones, refining skin texture, and hydrating the body.

Ingredients for homemade lemon tea-

  • Lemon ( half)
  • Table sugar (1 tsp)
  • Water (1 cup)
  • Tea leaf seeds (4-5 in number)

Method of preparing-

  • To make homemade lemon tea ,First take water in a cup add in pan and heat it till it boils & then switch off the flame.
  • Squeeze few drop of lemon & some amout of sugar in tablespoon according to your taste.
  • Take a stiner & add 4-5 seeds of tea leaf on it.
  • Now add the water through the stiner.
  • Mix the contents in the cup & add more ingredients if needed.
  • Sip it with a snack item.

One drop of lemon juice contains 12–13 mg of Vitamin C. Vitamin C, proved to be one of the most effective nutrients to date. It is a powerful antioxidant that blends with collagen- a protein that helps in making blood vessels and body muscles stronger thereby, preventing scurvy, common cold, decreasing hypertension, improving the immune system, preventing cataracts, boosting immunity, among various other benefits.

Lemon tea is helpful in relieving cold and flu symptoms. If you have a cold and flu, you can add ginger to the tea and drink it 2 to 3 times a day. It will help you to give relief from a sore throat. Boost your immune system and keep you warm during winter’s . The liquid helps thin the mucus in your throat. Warm liquids such as broth, tea, or lemon juice and honey and warm water soothe best for your so throat.
