Vegetable stew:
Vegetable stew can be made with lots of variations and vegetables. You can choose vegetables of your choice and your availability. Vegetable stew can be made with or without coconut milk or just with water or with water and milk. It depends on how you like to make it.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Total time: 25 minutes

Ingredients to make vegetable stew:
Oil-2 tbsp
Cinnamon: ¼ stick
Cloves: 3
Cardamom pods: 1-2 pods
Curry leaves: ¼ kat
Onion: 1 big (sliced)
Potato: 1 big
Green chili-1 big (sliced)
Carrot: 2 big
Green beans: 2-3
Peas: ¼ cup
Masala powder: ½ tsp
Black pepper: ¼ tsp
Red chili powder: ¼ tsp
Rice flour: 1 tbsp
Salt: to taste
Water: 1 cup
Milk: ½ cup
Method of preparation:
- Firstly heat oil in a pan, and when heated add all dry spices in it. Sauté for a few minutes and then add sliced onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions become translucent.
- Meanwhile add rice flour to the water and mix well.
- Furthermore add all the vegetables of your choice to the pan and sauté until tender. Cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes while stirring.
- When the vegetables become tender, add rice flour+ water mixture to it and mix all the ingredients well.
- Moreover add salt, black pepper, red chili powder and garam masala to the vegetables and mix well.
- Furthermore, add water and milk to the pan and cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Now, cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat for 1-2 minutes and then serve hot after 5 minutes!
Chicken stew:
To make chicken stew all you need to add is chicken breast along with chicken broth to the above mentioned recipe of vegetable stew.

Ingredients to make chicken stew:

Skinless chicken breast-1 ½ lb
Chicken broth-2-3 cup
Method of preparation:
- Firstly heat oil in a pot, and when heated add all dry spices in it. Sauté for a few minutes and then add sliced onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions become translucent.
- Meanwhile add rice flour to the water and mix well.
- Furthermore add all the vegetables of your choice to the pot and sauté until tender. Cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes while stirring.
- When the vegetables become tender, add rice flour+ water mixture to it and mix all the ingredients well.
- Moreover add salt, black pepper, red chili powder and garam masala to the vegetables and mix well.
- Now, add chicken breast to the pot along with chicken broth. Furthermore, cook the mixture on low heat until the chicken is no longer pink and the vegetables become tender.
(Pro-tip: you can also use shredded chicken or shred the chicken in the bowl while serving)
Serve hot!
Mutton stew:
To make mutton stew repeat all the above mentioned steps for chicken stew and replace chicken with 500 gms of mutton and add water in place of chicken broth.
