Street food is everyone’s favorite especially anything made up of corns. So, we have brought you something which will tantalize your taste buds! This Mexican spicy corn is a form of street food that you can easily make at your home and will absolutely love it.
It is one of my favorite dish to have as a snack. You can also serve it with cracker or nachos which is a pair made in heaven.
It’s a great dish as you can make it ahead of time and also can enjoy it whenever you crave for it. These spicy corns are a perfect combination of spicy, creamy dressing and topped with vibrant, spicy and tangy flavors. It is utterly delicious.
Moreover, Mexican corn flavors are fantastic. Also, super easy to make. The key is to have all your ingredients gathered and also prepped for easy assembly.

Cooking time: 5 minutes
Total time: 10-15 minutes
Serving: 1
Ingredients to make Mexican spicy corn:
- Corn kernels: 1/2 cup
- Butter: 1/2 tbsp
- Onion, chopped: 1/2 cup
- Capsicum, chopped: 1/4 cup
- Green chilli, chopped: 1-2
- Chilli powder: 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Tomato ketchup: 1/2 tbsp
- Oregano: 1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves, chopped, for garnishing
Method of preparation:
- Firstly, combine butter, chopped onion and capsicum in a bowl and microwave it for 2 minutes.
- Secondly, add corn, green chilli, chilli powder, tomato ketchup and salt and also mix it well.
- Next, microwave again for 1 minute. Now, add oregano and again mix it and garnish it with coriander leaves as well.
- Finally, serve the Mexican spicy corn as it is or with nachos or crackers.
