How to make paneer tikka salad at home?

Salads can be delicious. One of the example is this delicious Indian salad known as Paneer Tikka Salad. And it is made by marinating paneer with spices and yogurt and grilled on a skewer or without skewers along with fresh chopped vegies.

Ingredients:

  • Paneer, cubed-1 cup
  • Ginger-garlic paste-1 tsp
  • Tandoori masala (optional)-1 tsp
  • Chili powder-1 tsp
  • Turmeric-1/2 tsp
  • Amchur powder-1 tsp
  • Kasuri methi-1 tsp
  • Salt, to taste
  • Yogurt-1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice-2 tbsp
  • Oil-2-3 tbsp
  • Lettuce-2-3 leaves
  • Carrot, chopped-1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes, chopped-1/2 cup
  • Onion, chopped-1/2 cup
  • Capsicum, chopped-1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves, chopped for garnishing

Method of preparation:

  1. Firstly, cut the paneer into cubes. And you can cut them into the size of your liking.
  2. Secondly, combine the paneer with ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala, turmeric, chili powder, kasuri methi, amchur, yogurt, lemon juice, and salt.
  3. Furthermore, to cook the paneer, you can either pan-fry, bake, air-fry, or grill (this is your choice). To grill, take a pan and coat the pan with oil lightly and let it heat and then spread the paneer on it. Now, once cooked from one side, flip to cook on other side.
  4. Lastly, for the salad, chop the lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, and dice the onions and assemble all the veggies with the paneer tikka in a deep bowl
  5. Finally, garnish this salad with some chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice.
