How to make Chinese Dosa?

The amalgamation of two different cuisines often lead to fusion dishes that often make waves and sometimes we can’t think of our lives without them! Same goes for the Chinese dosa.

Chinese food has become an integral part of the Indian culinary nowadays. And chinese dosa is one of the famous recipes in India. It is a delicious fusion of Chinese and South Indian cuisine.

Moreover, this dish is full of flavours. It is made with simple ingredients like dosa batter, cabbage, capsicum, paneer, lemon juice and some common spices. Also, this recipe will equally be loved by your kids, adults or even elderly.   • Garlic (finely chopped)-2
  • Spring onions (finely chopped)-1/4 cup
  • Onion (chopped)-1
  • Capsicum (thinly sliced)-1
  • Cabbage (thinly shredded)-1/4 cup
  • Schezwan sauce-1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce-1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Dosa batter-1 cup
  • Oil-1 tbsp

Method of preparation:

  • Firstly, in a large kadai or wok heat oil and further add garlic and saute well.
  • Secondly, add spring onions, capsicum, cabbage, onion and saute well for 1-2 minutes.
  • Additionally, add salt, schezwan sauce, soy sauce in the wok and mix well and turn the flame off.
  • Next, heat a frying pan and put oil in it. Now, pour a ladleful of the dosa batter on it and also spread it in a circular motion thin circle.
  • Furthermore, spread prepared schezwan vegetable mixture at one side and cook till the bottom of dosa turns golden brown and then roll the dosa along with the mixture.
  • Finally, cut half schezwan dosa and serve it with chutney of your choice.
