Method

1 . Take a non-stick pan heat the oil and put mustard seeds.

2. When the seeds crackle add curry leaves and chopped onion and saute on a medium flame for 1 to2 minutes.

3. Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric/ powder, chili powder 2 tablespoons of water, and cook it on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.

4. Now add tomato ketchup, lemon juice, and salt and mix it well.

5. Add salt according to your taste. Now add torn bread in the pan mixes it well and now cover the pan for 1 minute.

6. Switch of the flame, Add the coriander, and mixed it well.

7. Served the bread upma hot if you want you can add oregano seasoning for the good taste.

7) Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

Method

  1. Mix together the cooked rice with the chopped  carrot, onions and cabbage in a bowl. Now Add the whole wheat flour, gram flour, turmeric powder, green chillies, garlic, ginger, yogurt, salt and coriander leaves and mix well.
  2. Add ¼ cup of water and knead into a soft dough. Cover it aside for 20 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into eight equal portions and roll into balls.
  4. Grease a plastic sheet with oil and place a dough ball on it and press evenly to make a round pancake. Similarly make the remaining pancakes.
  5. 6. Serve hot with ketchup or pudian chutney of your choice.

  1. 1  cups Cooked short-grain white rice
  2. 1 ½ cups water
  3. ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
  4. 2 teaspoons white sugar
  5. 1 teaspoon salt
  6. ½ avocado – peeled, pitted, and thinly sliced
  7. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  8. ¼ cup sesame seeds
  9. Half cucumber – peeled, seeded, and cut into matchsticks
  10. 1½ green bell pepper, seeded and cut into matchsticks
  11. ½ zucchini, cut into matchsticks

Method

 1) Take leftover rice in a bowl and mix red wine vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl until sugar has dissolved. Fluff rice with a fork and transfer into a large bowl, pour the vinegar mixture into the rice and stir to coat the rice.

2) Now Spread rice out onto a large piece of parchment paper and fan the rice until cool. Cover rice with damp paper towels.

3) Sprinkle avocado slices with lemon juice in a bowl.

4) Spread a thin layer of sesame seeds onto a sushi mat. Pick up about half a cup of cool rice and place it onto the sushi mat in an even layer. Place 1/4 of the cucumber, avocado slices, bell pepper, and zucchini in a line down the middle of the rice.

5) Pick up the edge of the sushi mat, fold the bottom edge of the sheet up, enclose the filling, and tightly roll the sushi into a thick cylinder. Once the sushi is rolled, wrap it in the mat and gently squeeze it to compact it tightly.

  2. Cover and let the dough sit for about 15 minutes.
  3. After 15 minutes, heat a roti tawa. Roll it round and make it into a ball shape. Rub 1/4 teaspoon ghee over the surface.
  4. Once it is done, fold 2 opposite edges such that they touch each other at the edges.
  5. Place it on hot tawa and cook on both sides until they get golden brown. Rub about 1/4 teaspoon ghee on both the sides of paratha.
  6. Serve it with curd or pickle .

  • Adjust salt in dal, add roasted semolina and mix well. Cook till the mixture thickens and the moisture is absorbed.
  • Roughly chop coriander leaves.
  • Transfer cooked dal mixture into a bowl. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Refrigerate the mixture for 15-20 minutes.
  • Take the bowl out of the refrigerator, add breadcrumbs and lemon juice mix well.
  • Heat some oil in another non-stick pan.
  • 10 Then grease your palms with some oil, divide the dal mixture into equal portions and shape them into medium sized tikkis.

  6. Cook  this on the medium flame from both sides turn brown.

  2. Secondly take 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan add onions and garlic and saute for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree and saute for another 5 minutes.
  1. First color of the pasta -Then add chili flakes, oregano, Italian sizzling, white chili powder, salt, and mix well.
  2. After that add cherry tomatoes, tomato ketchup, cheese and mix well. Then cook pasta for 2 minutes. Finally Orange pasta is ready.
  1. Second color of pasta – Start preparing white pasta. Put butter and refined flour in one pan mix well.

I made these tricolor sandwiches today for Breakfast as an early celebration and am going to make these again for a lunch gathering after the flag hoisting on the 15th.

How To Make Sesame Brocolli?

Ingredients to make tricolor sandwich

1)4 bread slices, sides removed

2)½ cup grated cabbage and spinach sauté or cumber

3)½ cup grated carrot

4)1 cup mayonnaise

5)2 tbsp schezwan sauce

6)2 tbsp mint chutney

7) Salt to taste

8)2 tbsp butter Process

Method

1) Cut the sides of white or wholemeal bread. 2) Now on one bread slice, apply a generous amount of green chutney.

For making the Dhoklis, you need

Whole wheat flour: 1 cup

Besan (bengal gram flour): 1 ½ cup

Chili powder: ½ tsp

Turmeric (haldi): ½ tsp

Carom seeds (ajwain): ¼ tsp

Oil: 1 tablespoon

For making dal, you need:

Arhar dal: 1 cup

Lemon juice: ½ tablespoon

Jaggery (gur): 1-2 tablespoons (chopped)

Green chili: 1 (sliced)

Ginger paste: 1 tsp

Curry leaves: 10-12 leaves

Cashews: 8-10 (optional)

Ghee: 2 tablespoons

Turmeric powder: ¼ tsp

Hing: ¼ tsp

Mustard seeds: ¼ tsp

Jeera (cumin seeds): ¼ tsp

Cloves: 2

Cinnamon: 1 stick

Method of preparation

For making the dhokli:

  • Firstly, take a big bowl and combine all the ingredients. Furthermore, knead a semi-stiff dough by using enough water.
  • Now, cover the dough with a lid and keep it aside for about 15 minutes.
  • Moreover, divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a circle. 
  • Now, after rolling, place a pan on low flame and cook each dough circle lightly from each side. 
  • Once cooked, cut each chapati/roti into diamond or square shape and keep aside.

For making dal:

  • Firstly, wash and drain the dal properly. After draining, in a pressure cooker, combine dal with water and cook till 3 whistles.
  • Now, once the dal is cooked, add around 1 cup of hot water to it and blend it into a mixer blender till a smooth consistency is reached. After blending, add more hot water (2 cups) and mix well.
  • Now, place a non-stick pan on the flame and add all the dry ingredients and spices to it along with ghee and lemon juice. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Now, add the blended dal to the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes while stirring constantly.
  • Meanwhile, in a small non-stick pan, add ghee, cumin seeds and mustard seeds and let them crackle. Once they start crackling, add cloves and cinnamon and cook on a medium flame for a few seconds. 
  • Now, add this tadka to the dal and miz well. Cook for 2-3 minutes while stirring. Turn off the flame and keep aside.
  • Finally, just before serving, bring the dal to a boil and when it starts to boil, add dhokli in it. Mix well while cooking on a medium flame for a few minutes.
